Welcome to the Nadeau House
The Nadeau House is a historically rich property set along the banks of the world-renowned Grand Cascapedia River. Our beautifully restored 19th-century home offers a perfect blend of history, comfort, and unparalleled river access. Originally built on the property of a bustling sawmill, door and sash factory and bank, the lodge has been thoughtfully renovated to preserve its rustic charm while offering all the comforts of modern hospitality.
Fly Shop
In addition to our in-house fly shop, you’ll find a fully equipped fly shop for all your fishing needs just a stone’s throw away.
Private Queen & King Bedrooms
The Nadeau House accommodates 8 rods, featuring 6 cozy queen bedrooms and 2 king rooms, each sharing a bathroom between two rooms. That's right, all of our anglers have the opportunity to enjoy their own private accommodations.
Dining
Every meal at the Nadeau House is a celebration of local ingredients and warm hospitality. Guests can look forward to enjoying a carefully curated menu that highlights the region’s ingredients from fresh Atlantic seafood to seasonal farm produce.
Rest Well, Rise Early
Our guest rooms are designed for comfort and calm after a full day on the water. Each one features top-of-the-line mattresses, premium linens, and cloud-soft pillows to ensure a restful sleep. A spacious wardrobe makes it easy to settle in and feel at home, while a large five-foot window and glass-paned door let in beautiful natural light and offer a quiet view of the surrounding landscape.
Rooms are arranged in a Jack and Jill style, with a shared private bathroom between each pair. Accommodations are based on double occupancy, but rest assured- you will never be paired with a stranger. Whether you're here with a friend, partner, or solo, we’ve designed every room to feel serene, secure, and deeply relaxing.
Gather Around the Table
At the heart of the lodge is a warm, communal table where every meal feels like a celebration. Our family-style dining brings guests together to share stories and dishes made with high-quality, seasonal ingredients—many of them sourced locally.
Mornings begin with an elevated continental breakfast, thoughtfully prepared to fuel early adventures, whether you're heading to the river or enjoying a slow start. In the evenings, return to comforting, generous meals that balance rustic charm with refined flavor—hearty, nourishing, and made to be shared.
Good food, good company, and a view of the setting sun—this is lodge dining at its best.
