This August: Joe Beef comes to the lodge


This August, Gaspé Coastal is welcoming the Joe Beef team to the Cascapedia-Saint-Jules for a special collaboration built around everything we love most: great fishing, generous food, thoughtful wine, and the easy rhythm of lodge life.

Set in Cascapédia–Saint-Jules, at our 19th-century lodge, Joe Beef chez Gaspé Coastal brings together two worlds that share a deep appreciation for place, hospitality, and time well spent around the table.

Over the course of four nights, guests will fish the rivers, flats, and coastlines that surround us, then return to the lodge for evenings shaped by Joe Beef’s unmistakable warmth, cooking, wine, and spirit.


The experience

Each stay includes three full days of guided fishing and four nights at the lodge. Days will be spent on the river or in the salt, with the program kept flexible according to conditions, tides, water levels, and your specific interests and objectives.


You will have the opportunity to target Atlantic salmon on the legendary rivers of the Gaspé, sight fish for striped bass on the shallow flats of Chaleur Bay, or stalk native sea-run brook trout in crystal clear waters. 


In the evenings, you will head back to the lodge and be welcomed with hallmark Joe Beef cocktails and bites followed by a full course meal replete with carefully selected wines and spirits from the cellar. Each night’s banquet will be fit to quell any angling dismay and to toast to victories on the water.

Joe Beef executive chefs Jean-Philippe Miron & Luc Tessier will man the galley, preparing nightly menus featuring generously portioned French fare from the region’s best seasonal ingredients. On the porch and in the dining room, Liverpool House’s long time resident wino, oyster boy and doorman, James Graham-Simpkins will dispense libations, lore and laughs. These relaxed and festive moments are not to be missed!

In addition to our regular inclusions, this special experience will feature:

• Joe Beef classics and standout dishes featuring local Gaspé produce 

• Thoughtful wine selection, including some of James’ favourite bottles 

• Old world digestifs and a fully stocked bar 

• Packed shore lunches prepared by the Joe Beef team for time on the water 

• A few special touches throughout the stay

The 3 day, 4 night experience is $5900+tx per angler, based on double occupancy.
